Element Six (E6) deliver advanced polycrystalline diamond (PCD) and polycrystalline cubic boron nitride (PCBN) materials engineered to meet the evolving demands of automotive and aerospace machining.
With over 50 years of relentless innovation in PCD and PCBN solutions, E6 supermaterials are trusted for their exceptional quality, consistency, and performance. We control the entire manufacturing process — from synthetic diamond and CBN synthesis to final product — ensuring reliable, high-performance tooling solutions.
E6 PCD and PCBN products are designed to overcome the toughest machining challenges, helping manufacturers and toolmakers improve productivity, extend tool life, and achieve superior surface finishes across a wide range of applications.
PCD (Polycrystalline Diamond) tools are ideal for high-speed, high-precision machining of non-ferrous metals and abrasive composite materials such as aluminum alloys, copper, CFRP, GFRP, and other engineered plastics. With extreme hardness and wear resistance, PCD tools enable superior surface finishes, tighter tolerances, and extended tool life—making them perfect for demanding applications in automotive, electronics, and high-volume manufacturing. Their ability to operate at high cutting speeds while minimizing heat and tool wear leads to reduced downtime, lower production costs, and improved process efficiency.
The E6 PCD product portfolio is designed to provide toolmakers and manufacturers with flexible, high-performance solutions tailored to specific application requirements. Each product range is differentiated by disc dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish, allowing for precise matching to your production needs.

E6 AeroDianamics™ PCD tool blanks are engineered to tackle the machining challenges of CFRP composites used in modern aircraft. These tools enable faster, cleaner milling and drilling with reduced heat and tool forces, improving efficiency and component quality. Their precision and durability help manufacturers meet tight delivery schedules while maintaining high performance standards in aerospace production.
E6 PCBN cutting tools are tailored for high‑performance machining of hardened steels, cast irons, and other ferrous, wear‑resistant materials. They offer superior hardness, thermal stability, and chemical inertness, allowing high speeds, excellent wear resistance, and long tool life even under demanding conditions. Different grades (e.g. DCN450, DCC500, DIA550, DHA650, DCX650, DFA750, DBW85, DBS900) are optimized for variations in interruption, abrasion, toughness and chemical wear, enabling fine surface finish or aggressive cutting as needed. Used properly, PCBN can replace traditional grinding or carbide tools in hard-turning and finishing operations, improving productivity and reducing costs.
E6 chemical vapour deposition (CVD) diamond CVDITE™ CDE and CDM are synthetic diamond grades, designed for dry machining of highly abrasive materials like metal matrix composites and high glass fibre content materials. CDE allows EDM/EDG shaping, while CDM suits general-purpose cutting. These tools offer exceptional wear resistance and thermal stability, with sharp, chip-resistant edges ideal for high-temperature, high-precision applications.
Monodite diamonds are available in various shapes (rectangles, squares, triangles, circles) and sizes (up to 4 mm edge length), fabricated as finely polished plates with precise laser-cut edges.
